Then, Judy lead us in our technique lesson for the evening.  We learned how to make homemade papers that have the texture of wallpaper when finished...soft and silky with texture.  Very cool.

Here Judy (top center) is showing us what you can make with the papers

This is a book of photos of a coastal walk Judy made.

Here it is, all spread out.

Here is another mini book Judy made with these fancy papers as the cover.

Here is the cool cover!  It feels like velvet!

Here is a cool homemade box, again made by Judy

Here we all are, she is showing us how to make the fancy solution to mix with acrylic paint.  She sent us home with an instruction sheet, which was great!

Joyce and I's first color choice! :-)  Yummy

And here is what I made with it!  :-)  It looks and feels cool in person.  Not bad for a first attempt.  I know I will figure out something cool to make out of this.

Here is another one, in progress...

Here are all my other homemade papers
the next day when they were dry!

This new technique was sooooooo much fun!  It was like finger painting....very messy....probably something I would never attempt at home by myself....so I really enjoyed playing!  Thanks Judy!!!
